Boat pulling activity was conducted in Aakulam Lake for first batch of 12 cadets. Boat pulling activity is aimed to inculcate a spirit of adventure, watermanship skills, develop mental and physical strength, endurance and to foster healthy competition and team spirit. Women Self Defence Training Program is a unique initiative of 1(K) Naval NCC unit in association with Physical Education Department. This project aims at empowering women through comprehensive awareness and practical training program. The vulnerability of women and young girls is a major factor contributing to the instances of crime against women. The self defence classes will be organized in all Saturdays 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm for women students. The programme was inaugurated by IGP and City Police Commissioner Shri.G. Sparjan Kumar IPS

The International Day of Yoga has been celebrated across the world annually on June 21 since 2015, following its inception in the United Nations General Assembly in 2014. Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice which originated in ancient India. The Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, in his UN address in 2014, had suggested the date of June 21, as it is the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and shares a special significance in many parts of the world. 1(K) Naval NCC unit celebrated it with Yoga practice on 21/06/2022 morning 6 am.

NCC unit, CoA, Vellayani  coordinated the campus cleaning activity to aid in maintaining a dry campus in awake of recent spread of Dengue fever in the campus.
